CASE owes its existence to local parents and teachers who fought to improve state education for their own children and those of others who would later benefit.
We continue to support and report on local campaigns which fight for a good local school and fair access to it.
We have distilled our shared experience on how to campaign into a guide to campaigning called Somebody Ought To Do Something and provided links to other sources of information and inspiration.
One of our main roles is to produce short, informative Briefings on issues of the day and to argue for the fairer system of education we believe everyone deserves.
We also respond to Government consultations to continue to make the case against privilege, such as our response to the Charity Act.
