Campaign for State Education
Welcomes visitors from
CASE is working with Compass on its “How to live in the 21st Century” project.
CASE has been campaigning for state education to be given the priority and value it deserves for over 40 years. We have consistently opposed privatisation and the commercialisation of education and fought for local democratic accountability for the public education system. (You can check our Core Beliefs here.)
CASE produces briefings on a wide range of educational issues, consistently arguing that only the best - for all children is the right approach. We believe that a true comprehensive system of education is the fairest and most efficient way to educate children and young people to be the citizens of a democratic country.
We have been a driving force behind the idea that A Good Local School should be the practical aim of government policy and have worked closely with other organisations such as the National Union of Teachers to press for this.
We are an organisation that depends entirely on the voluntary contributions of its members. If you would like to join us, please click here for details.
