CASEnotes Code of Conduct

Welcome to the CASEnotes forum!

 

Our community is dedicated to fostering constructive discussions and collaboration on education equity and reform. To ensure a positive and respectful environment for all members, we ask that you adhere to the following Code of Conduct:

  1. Respectful Conduct:

    • Treat all forum members with respect and courtesy, regardless of their background, beliefs, or opinions.

    • Avoid personal attacks, insults, or offensive language in your interactions with others.

    • Foster an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and heard.
       

  2. Content Guidelines:

    • Keep discussions relevant to the forum's focus on education equity and reform.

    • Refrain from posting spam, advertisements, or promotional content unrelated to the forum's purpose.

    • Provide evidence-based arguments and avoid spreading misinformation or false claims.
       

  3. Professionalism and Constructive Engagement:

    • Engage in discussions with professionalism and a willingness to listen to different viewpoints.

    • Offer constructive feedback and criticism that contributes to meaningful dialogue and problem-solving.

    • Respect the diverse perspectives and experiences of other forum members.
       

  4. Privacy and Confidentiality:

    • Respect the privacy of others by refraining from sharing personal information without consent.

    • Keep forum discussions confidential and avoid sharing sensitive information shared within the community outside of the forum.
       

  5. Compliance with Forum Policies:

    • Adhere to the policies outlined in the CASEnotes Forum Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

    • Cooperate with forum moderators and abide by their decisions regarding forum management and content moderation.
       

  6. Accountability and Reporting:

    • Hold yourself and others accountable for upholding the Code of Conduct and forum policies.

    • Report any violations of the Code of Conduct or concerns about forum behavior to the forum moderators for review and action.
       

  7. Continuous Improvement:

    • Strive to contribute positively to the forum community and support its mission of advancing education equity and reform.

    • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving forum functionality, content, and member experiences.
       

By participating in the CASEnotes forum, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. Failure to comply may result in moderation actions, including post removal, temporary suspension, or permanent ban from the forum.
