The conference explored the history and effects of Ofsted and other inspection systems, examined how performativity and accountability influence schools and educators, considered the impact of neoliberalism on education policy, and focused on developing more supportive, equitable, and democratic alternatives.

2024

The conference centered on four key themes—Fragmentation, Professionalism, Inclusion, and Curriculum. Each theme included expert presentations, interactive Q&A sessions, and practical takeaways designed to advance CASE’s advocacy efforts.
